I recently moved here to become a full-time student. By leaving CA, i had to leave the little girl that i had been taking care of while her mother was active duty military. I had 24/7 care of her from newborn to 2 years old. I was technically a "single-mom" during these times so i know how hard it can be. I dealt with a sick child, potty training, terrible 2's, trying to find childcare and trying to make it all work. I miss my mini-family and am looking to find another family that i can bond with and help their child or children learn and grow. I take an afternoon class schedule from 1 pm to 6 pm, but i can change to an evening course starting at 6:30pm if needed.

My name is Heather Grimshaw. I am currently a student in hopes of becoming a RN. I have alot of experience watching and taking care of children of all ages and types. My mother has had a licensed in home day care almost all of my live, and because of that taking care of children is second nature to me. Recently I have been a nanny for two awesome boys ages 8 and 10. I have taken care of newborns to thirteen year olds. I am comfertable with any age group. I enjoy taking kids outdoors, if its not too hot out there! I like to keep kids active and either playing games or doing their homework.
